Welcome to Box CE VC Primary SchoolWelcome to our school website. Nestled in the village of Box our school has recently celebrated its 300th anniversary. The school was initially set up as a charity school in the church of St. Thomas a Becket. As a church school we offer a distinctive education based on Christian principles where every person is valued, encouraged to respond compassionately to others and helped to achieve their potential.
Over the years it has continued to go from strength to strength and although the curriculum and location has changed a little we are still here 300 years later! The school moved to its present site in 1875 which you can see in the photo on the left. A three class extension was completed in the summer of 2005. We are very proud of our school and all its achievements.
On this site we will show photos and reports of recent events and provide links to relevant and useful documents. The first time you visit the site you will need to register. When it asks for the first characters of your school please write BOXCE. If you have any problems using the site please pop in and tell the office.
